A work of erotic horror fiction filled with “sacrilege, blasphemy, and crime—written in a style that is part H.P. Lovecraft, part Marquis de Sade, and part Octave Mirbeau, The Cannibal Within is literally “wet with sin, slippery with blood, and slimy with fornication.”

This horror novella, which was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize,  was mentioned by Stephen Jones, The Mammoth Book of Best New Horror, volume 14.

The Cannibal Within (2001, 2nd impression 2005) ISBN 186992827X, has been translated into Italian as Il Cannibale Dentro (2006) (ISBN 8889383356)by Stefania Marchini from Edizione Clandestine.
